1995 Ford F250
I have a 95 Ford F2 50 with the E4 OD transmission and I’m wondering if other 90 series E4OD transmissions are usable on mine. Would I just have to change out the solenoid pack and then it would work or how would that work?

From what I read the issue could be a forward clutch is bad or has a leaking seal. You should research this if you are interested in fixing it for a lot less than a rebuild. Hopefully someone else can chime in with ideas. I don't think you need to replace or rebuild it but ???? Sandy

I’ll check that when I get home but I’m wondering if transmission out of a 1997 5.4 f150 could go into mine even though it is a different motor because it does still have the e4od. I talked to a guy that I know what a Ford dealership and he said that it should be find as long as I change the solenoid pack with them
