96 f150 rear end swap

96 f150 rear end swap
I found a 1990 F150 4-wheel drive at the local wrecking yard with a 355 ls rear end. It appears to have the sensor needed for anti-lock brakes on my 96 . Am I correct in assuming this is the right sensor and is there any other reason this rear end won't swap into my 1996. My 1996 is not a limited slip rear end and I'd like to rebuild the one from the wrecking yard with 410 gears and swap the whole thing into my truck. Another question this truck also has the front differential and brakes, is this the correct front four wheel drive suspension that will bolt into my 96?

is that to say that my 96 has front antilock? If I convert to 4x4 will I need a later front differential to be compatible with the antilock?

yes a 96 has 4 wheel antilock brakes. The other part was answered already lol

They don't all have it. My '96 F150 has no ABS. It might have had rear at a time, but nothing up front.

Only the 1993 and later Broncos got 4 Wheel ABS. The F-series trucks stayed with the Rear Anti-lock Brake (RABS) system.
