3.0 Vulcan 2valve Wiring Harnesses
So far, I've determined that the engine I have is a 1999 model and I don't have the harnesses for it. Since it is that vintage, it is a PATS system, which causes me big headaches so I need to change it to pre-PATS wiring config (95-98).
I have found numerous Taurus 3.0 L 2-valve donor cars (95-98) and am wondering if their wiring harnesses will work, as I'm only trying to do engine and fuel management... No smog stuff, etc.
CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LITE ON THIS??? PLEASE!!
- I've found a 95 Ranger ECU but I've not been able to find a 3.0l wiring harness (engine or engine bay).
- I know that I must also change the CPS as the 99 engine has a sensor that isn't compatible with the pre-PATS computer.
