Is there anything worth upgrading short of deleting emissions?
Is there a good way to inspect leaf springs? I recall there being a red spray we used in my metal fab class in college that would highlight hairline cracks when we were forging and heat treating parts. Would something like that be worth spraying on the leaves around the mounts?
Of course, oil change, fuel filters, tires, and brakes but those I consider normal wear items.
Figure mileage between 150-175,000 to start with here.
I suppose I am the lone wolf here - because I would never consistently run my equipment hard.
What I would do is purchase a stronger truck that is designed for that workload - and then take care of it. JMHO.

Not to derail my own thread, but I never defined "hard" so there is no baseline of "workload", other than the vague reference to "hard".
To clarify - within the GCWR and GVWR ratings at or above 80% of daily mileage, up to 2500 miles per week/10,000 miles per month. In other words, within the capacity ratings the truck is designed for at a high mileage rate.
My theory is "something is going to go". I would rather down the truck before hand and replace something instead of killing the truck going down the road.
Replace the OEM cold air pipe from the CAC with an aftermarket. You should be good to go after that.
