Okay, you Gen 2 Raptor owners. Can you please answer these questions?
1) Do the cab steps mount to the same bolts that are installed in the factory? There are 6 or so bolts mounted to the underside of the body (not the frame) on the regular F-150. I’m m curious if Ford designed a beefier solution on the Raptor.
2) Other than the front skid plate, I’m curious if the Raptor has a better skid plate package that the regular F-150. In particular, is there more than that ridged cloth cover over the cats.
I don't own a Raptor but have a lot of Raptor components on my truck including the side steps/running boards. They mount exactly the same, brackets and nuts/bolts. I took my boards off my brackets and put the Raptor ones on in about 15 minutes. I don't think it's any beefier though. I don't know anything about the skid plate.
