Competition Racing and high performance transmission

Looking for a high performance competition racing level of a transmission for my 97 f350 xlt dually, preferably automatic, I went to swampsdiesel.com and found that nice 900hp performance package along with the 7.3 competition engine, and was looking to fully upgrade everything on the truck to the last bolt, all I seem to find is just basic stock transmissions,

if anyone can direct me into the right direction I would appreciate it.

Both of those guys have great reputations. If you tell them what you want to do with the truck they should be able to take care of you

I run the John Woods trans and I don't race but I pull 18K all over the country. I burned up two of E40D's before spending the money on John's. Well worth it, nice guy too. Talking with him in his shop he told me that he and Brian were friends but not anymore. John taught him how to build a trans and Brian stole his stuff and went on his own. John Wood Automotive -

Call and talk to the guys at racer X. As far as I know, they’re the only company that manufactures their own torque converter. Very knowledgeable and helpful when I called a few years ago.

You have talked about a Cummins swap. What engine are you going to end up with?

More than that what use would it really be? Fun for short periods but not much more.
That Imo is the hardest tight rope to walk. You don't want to fall on either side and give up drivability or performance.

I'm pretty sure he's just using it for a sled truck. If you're going to motor swap id highly recommend a P pumped dt466 or 530

Go to swampsdiesel.com and check out the 97 7.3 liter competition engine and the 900hp performance package, that's what I plan on getting.
