glow plug harness broke of level with sleeve

I started to change the glow plugs on my 06 PSD and all the plastic and wires broke almost immediately. some of the wire is sticking out on a few of them. The plastic around each one broke off on all of them. The #2 the plastic broke off level with the sleeve that they fit into, now i can't figure out how to get the rest of the glow plug harness off the glow plug. I have sprayed all of them generously with PB blaster.

I still have all of the glow plugs to do because i haven't been able to get the harness parts that sit in the sleeve.
not to sound whiny or anything but if anyone has some ideas to try that would work to get the harness part off of the glow plugs that would be awesome.
The things i have tried are the 18 gauge wire trick to no avail, then i have tried running a screw in and that hasn't helped.

any help or suggestions or even if someone lives in the Spokane WA area that maybe able to take a look that would be great.

Thanks Matt

Are the wire still attached through the plastic? When I did mine I just yanked on the wire and they came right out. Don’t remember if it’s possible too strike the head with a screw driver and try to spin them a little to help break the bond to the head or thump them in a little then pull the wires.

Thank you again FiznUka for the quick reply. since I posted that I did finally get the #2, #4, #6 glow plug harness parts off and change those glow plugs. now I'm trying to get #8 harness part off.
The #2 I ran a screw in about 2/3 of an inch and wiggled and wobbled it and got it to move some then blasted it with the PB blaster stuff again wired a few minutes then yanked on the screw and it popped out.
The #4 and #6 I did exactly what you mentioned about grabbing the wires and they popped right out. now #8 I'm having a hard time getting to with anything and it looks like the same as the #2 did broken flush with the sleeve or whatever its called and not a whole lot of room to get to it. I did pull the degassing bottle out to give myself some more room but that really hasn't helped.
I am so close but yet so far away from being done. I thought about the inner wheel well and pulling that off to get a better view but that looks like a nightmare to do with all the plastic clips that go into it and all the little bolts.

Thats where I am on my progress. Again I appreciate the help and the ideas.

If you changed the glowplugs and harness pigtails, the only things left are the harness from the module to the pigtail plug and the module itself.
Use a meter & OHM out the #2 glowplug wire in the harness from the pigtail plug to the plug on the module. If you don't find a chafe or issue with the harnesses than the only thing left is the glowplug module.

Rusty, Jack and Sean,
Great job on discussions and I like the specifics on the tools and writing, accompanied with pictures.

I've been pulled away due to a two yes dual "commode" (toilet) wax ring failure and resultant Emergency in my house. Yeah, two at once. Leaving just the third working & usable. Tile, sub-floor, and grouting and details i won't bore y'all with. So I'm away from completing my PSD project and "tool". However I expect to get back to it Friday after work.
In the meantime, I've purchased and received a video- camera "endoscope" to see (& possibly record) deep into the "underworld" below the removed oil rail to verify what's going on. And get the last two Harness Plugs removed. The new Standpipes go in, new Dummy Plugs, Glow Plugs, Harnesses and back together. CRRRRrrrrank!
The "tool" will be in testing with the endoscope to observe and verify no metal parts enter the engine.
Thank you very much for the excellent viewpoints and volleys. That's what this is for!

More soon!
best regards,
Christopher
