Body mount bushings

I'm getting close to needing cab mount bushings on my 1971 F100. Looking through all of the usual sources I'm trying to find cost effective good quality stuff. Cab only about $100.00 for pad and hardware kit. This is year specific 67 to 72 Part #: 48-40812-1 (Macs)
Alt Part #: C7TZ-5400-KT

Also listed 1966 to 1979 poly bushing kit about $43.00 Part #: 48-371481-1(Macs) No hardware kit

Also listed (Jegs) Prothane 6-110-BL about $43.00 also 1966 thru 1979. No hardware kit.

Any one have any input here. What have any of you replaced yours with?

Do the new poly bushings not need the spacers and washers.

I have not yet Brian. Keep in mind 4X2 and 4X4 have different insulator mounts at the cab rear position.
But I can tell you, when I do I'm going to go rubber. I'll let the frame keep all the road vibration and harshness.

I have both Brian, an original set of Ford Rubber Bushings and Hardware, also a set of Poly Bushing (that use the original hardware).

Thanks for your replies. I called Macs to discuss this. They don't have the spacers and hardware for the poly kits. They recommend the OE parts that come with the hardware. So looks like I'll be ordering them soon.

I see Dennis Carpenter has just the cab mount bushings. I ordered mine mounts straight from Ford a long time ago. Been carting them around now forever. I also bought the Poly Bushings and haven't decided which ones I am going to run. The rubber ones just seem to be awful soft.

Based on the drawing posted by Number it looks like the only difference is the bolt. The bushings are the same.

Fe 390 I saw that too but I think there will be a different prefix and suffix for a 4x4. The pics just show the basic part number for a rubber mount. In the actual part # list it will give the full part # for both applications.

I know on my F250 4x4 the rear cab mounts are outboard the frame.

True, but the bolt is the only one called out for 2x4 and 4x4. Hopefully Number Dummy can provide more detail.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread but I have also been thinking about this. I just picked up a 1971 F250 4x4 that was re-bodied with a 67 F100 2wd body. I haven't spent much time under it but I definitely wonder about what will work in my case.

Well I was just looking at the Ford drawings and as far as I can see the basic bushings are the same for 1964 to 1972 F100 thru F350. The only difference I see is the rear mount bolt. Here are the drawings.
