Hey all, I've been doing a bit of research on this site, but wasn't finding a solid answer. I have a 1965 Ford F100 with a 300 six cylinder, I just finished rebuilding the engine, and now it's time for paint. I'd like to paint it the same as it was when it left the factory.
From the little bit of paint left on the block and tins before I took it apart, it appears the block and all tins (valve cover, pushrod cover, oil pan) where all black. The only blue I found on engine was the alternator pulley.
Is the all black color scheme correct? Also, does anyone have a photo of a '65 300 as it came from the factory I could reference? Thanks!
