I just picked up an 06 super duty that was not well cared for. The interior is disgusting. Mobile detailers do not want to try to remove the stains, so at this point I am looking to replace the seats or just the covers. I have been reading around on the forums but am still a little lost.
I have the 40/20/40 type seats. I found some used ones on ebay but they want $850 and I have a hard time justifying that much. What would be the best route and does anyone have any specific recommendations?
Also, the carpet is just as bad. I saw some used carpet for $250, but then found new stuff for $160. Ideas?
I have been trying to find a local salvage yard that has one in stock that I can take the interior out of, but no luck at this point. Thanks for any advice,
Try the front passenger first, if it works remove the rest & the carpet, and go to town. You would only be out a few bucks & if it doesn't work on the front passenger seat you've only lost about 1/2 hour of your time.

I bought some yesterday and will get back with you with before and after results. Thank you!
Well, I'll be honest. That stuff is pretty awesome! I literally poured it on and scrubbed for maybe 10 minutes. Still a long way to go but it did a good enough job that I'm not going to end up having to replace my seats. I have pictures of the results, just not sure how to post them on here. Thanks again sir,
Jonny
Glad I was able to help. I'm the laziest, cheapest SOB you'll ever meet in your life. If there's a fast & cheap fix for something I always try that first. I've sure learned a LOT from other members on this board and I'm glad when I can pass on what I've learned over the years.
