Mine were missing when I got my truck and I hate the fact that they are not there. I've been looking for a long time and they seem hard to find. Today I found these on ebay and I'm wondering if anyone else has tried them? And I'm guessing this should work for an '01 as well? I don't plan to lift the truck with the stock jack but I need the extension to at least get the spare down. Also, where would I go to find the correct key for the spare since mine apparently has a lock with no key.

I got the lock out so I'm not worried about that. I just want to know if anyone has experience with these aftermarket sets? The saying "You get what you pay for" comes to mind but I'm hoping they are stout enough to work in a pinch.

it looks like it might be missing the 6" extension for the rear dually rims.
you put the extension on the nuts within the dually rear rim, then you proceed from there.
also, if you have a dually, your going to need a rim puller which is basically a worn gear with hooks for the inner and outer rim...you turn the worn gear and the puller frees the rim from the hub.
it can be used on the inner rim by using the brake rotor as the hook point.
something about back rims ...if antiseize was not used on the hub offset....pia to get off.
I don't have a dually so I'm not worried about that, but thank you for the information as I had no idea that there was another piece required for a dually. I think I'll just bite the bullet and spend the 15 bucks and get it and try it out.
It looks the same to me except my set came with 3 extensions. I see that only comes with two. Just an observation. I know you can get the tire down with two but might be a little short when trying to jack under the truck. Not sure just a thought.
I ordered it today. I figure I will give it a try and see how it works and report my results in case anyone needs one at least to let the spare tire down.
Just wanted to post that I received my jack parts today and I'm pleasantly surprised. The extentions fit in my holder, lower the spare and assemble as they should. The lug wrench fits the lug nuts and seems stout. My only gripe is that the wrench is a tad smaller in diameter than stock but, for $12, who cares? Would highly recommend this kit over a lot of the over-priced items on Ebay.
Do you know if this spare tire tool will work on my 2009 F-350 6.4L? My truck also was missing the jack and spare tire tool when I bought it. I see a lot of these tools on ebay. The only thing is that the cheap ones (for about $25) say they're only for 2003 through 2007 models. The ones they have on ebay for the 2008 - 2016 models are $75. From the pictures, it looks like the 03'-07' models have 2 extensions while the 08'-16 have 3 extensions.
Will the jack handle for the 2003 - 2007 models work to lower the spare tire of my 2009?
I've been searching junk yards for over a year to no avail. I wish I could give you a definite answer on the fitment for your truck but I would venture to guess that it will work.
Thanks GN1220. I guess I will just buy one for the 03’/07’ models for my 2009 f350. I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit. I’ll post back and let you know.
