5.4L upper intake manifold bolt removal

I am trying to remove the upper intake manifold bolts on a 2004 5.4L. I can't get my hands to the far back to get the bolts back there. Any tips on how to remove them? I have ratchet wrenches but just can't physically get my hand in their. It's a real pain. It seems they assemble the engine and then install it. Sucks to do any maintenance.

Help!!!

Do you have the throttle body off ? I don't know if you've watched it already, but here's a good video on pulling the intake manifold off the 5.4L 2v engines.

Lot of stuff to clear out of the way.

I've done this on an '05, I suspect it's fairly similar. You need to clear out the space, remove everything on top of the manifold. It isn't that bad once you've removed all the stuff which is in the way.
