Trucks been dying on the fly?
Cruising down the street in my 7.3, i come to a stop, and I go to accelerate, and there's no power. It says "service engine soon" so if I try to turn it over again it'll just crank. But if I turn the key off and back on, it'll start right up. It's done this 3 times.

Less common could be clogged screens in tank or clogged intake bottom screen in tank. Debris falls away from screen when engine quits. I agree about the CPS--buy OEM from Riffraff or others (do not buy aftermarket brands, they are very unreliable). Reading codes could be helpful.

I bought her ten days ago. She has 107xxx miles on her. It had a hypertech tune, and 4"exhaust. And it has been sitting stored in a shop for 7 years!
