I have a 2000 with 05-07 grill and headlight. The 11-16 bumper fit perfect and looks like it was made for the truck. Bolt in the same holes as the original. Had to trim out the bumper to fit around my tow hooks.

WOW!! Thanks!! Is there any way you can post a few pictures? I'd sure appreciate it!
Is your '05-'07 Grille full size or the cut down version? Mine is the full length version because I have the full '07 front fascia.....
The 11-16 bumper is great for working on anything under the hood. The large opening in the center makes an easy first step even on a lifted truck. With the flat top and textured plastic don't have to worry about sliding off. The gap under the headlights makes the screws on the bottom easy to get to.
When I tried putting the 99-04 bumper on it was hitting the grill. Drilled a new hole inbetween the original two. Couldn't go any lower because the cutout for the tow hooks was hitting the tow hooks. The grill still was touching the bumper and had a bigger gap under the headlights.
Before getting the 11-16 bumper thought about getting the 05-07. Think it was 2013 and the bumper came off a 2012. Many of the 05-07 bumpers for sale around here had been around the winter for a while and were starting to rust. With all the curves, two tones, and fog lights next to the license plate thought the 99-04 and 05-07 looked like they belong more on a suv than a truck. The 11-16 looked more like it belonged on a truck with the top that could be stood on and the fog lights under the headlights.
Several people have told me they like the look of the truck. They didn't know that it is a combination of 3 generations of super duty. Makes it close enough to factory for most not to realize it isn't, but different enough for it to stand out from others.

Did you change out the header panel as well, or is that the 2000 header panel behind the grille? If so, does the 05-07 grill clip into the 2000 header panel or did you have to fasten it differently?
I used the original header panel. The headlight holes were opened up to fit the 50-07 headlights. The 05-07 grill screws into the top of the header panel the same as the original. The bottom of the grill is too low to clip into the original slots. In the photos you can see the slots are visible behind the grill. Some have used zip ties to hold the bottom tight. I left it loose and it has been fine for over 4 years.
The 05-07 header panel can be found for around $100. If you have the money for it I would recommend getting it.

Nice work! I just received my LED bulbs, ‘05-‘07 assembly and I ordered the ‘05-‘07 header panel online today. I’ll be doing the work next week. Then the bumper and grille will be next on the list.
I have seen a video with that bumper and grille combo. My thought is it would fit very nice with either the factory 99-04 grille or the cut down conversion grille. That would allow a tighter fit of the bumper. Don't like the half-hearted body lift look.
