Thoughts on disc brakes and dual feed master cylinders
Getting to a point where I need to get serious about finishing the brakes on my 46. I see Speedway has a front disc brake kit and the necessary adjustable proportioning and 2# residual valves needed to make it happen, for a reasonable price. Thinking of using a 1" Corvette type master cylinder for disc/disc, as I have discs on the rear. I'm going to keep the factory pedal assembly with the master cylinder under the floor. At this point I'm inclined to go without power assist and simply adapt the new master cylinder to the factory location. This will be my first time doing this, so I'm in the learning phase. From the research I've done into this, I'm thinking this setup should work out just fine. For you guys that have done this, am I On or Off base?
