47 rear wheel diagram

Does anybody have a diagram for a 1947 1/2 pickup rear wheel assembly. I am putting the bearings, seals, washers, and nuts back on and I want to make sure I get it in the right order. It has been a while. Thanks

Good info Mike. I was thinking the roller bearing was lubricated by the 90 wt from the rear axle. I have my brakes completed and bled but the drums are just on temporary as my new seals came in last night. I'll pack the bearings and install the new seals after the holiday weekend. I have read that it is really important to tighten the big nut to proper torque value as it's the taper that should transmit the torque of the engine to the road. The axle's key is not up to that task. Never mind losing a wheel/drum assembly on the road.

Found this on axle nut torque procedure. Hope it helps.

The 'V8 Times', Sept/Oct 98 Issue, pages 46 and 48, quotes several Ford Service Letters and later corrections.
The final direction on tightening axle nuts reads: "tighten nut 356074-S to 200 to 220 foot pounds; then continue tightening to the next castellation providing final resultant torque does not exceed 275 foot pounds.
