1947 Pickup 6 cylinder battery bracket needed

Fixing more little things. Need a bracket for a 47 6 cylinder G 1/2 ton. None of the suppliers I have called can help. Looking for NOS, used, repop doesn't matter. Part number is 2GC 10732. Anybody have one for sale or know a vendor that might have one?

Thanks in advance to all that reply

They are the same; the bracket is mounted on the left side for the six cylinder.

They are different. This weekend I will post pictures of the difference between a 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder battery tray.
The tray only has one stud, the other side doesn't have it, use the j-hook with the top brackets. On the 6 the stud is on opposite side than the 8 tray. I have 5 or 6 8 trays and one 6 tray in storage, I'll show the difference between them this weekend.

I believe the V8 bracket can be used in place of the six cylinder one by relocating the top tray. The V8 tray would be backwards mounted on the right side. The tray uses a small reinforcement bracket that attaches near the top of the long battery clamp rod and to the firewall, so the clamp rod needs to be closest to the firewall to make it right in the six cylinder position. I'd modify a V8 bracket without hesitation, as the six cylinder brackets are tough to find and in either case the top trays are usually rotted and need work anyway.

After a couple of dead ends I decided to have the local welding shop repair it. $50.00 and I have a usable tray. Thanks for everyone's input

Glad you got it sorted out. Fifty dollars for making it whole again seems like a very fair price to me. I have one that I'll be using on my truck, so I was able to compare it to a V8 version. Looks like the top trays are just orientated different between the two for the most part.
