Problem after EGR repair... need help
My EGR cooler recently died on my Excursion so I just finished installing the Bulletproof EGR cooler and oil cooler. Install went smoothly and fixed the coolant blowing out of the exhaust but now I've got a screeching/squeling sound coming from the engine when I'm on the gas while driving. I rechecked the exhaust pipe connections to the turbo to make sure they were seated properly and not leaking but still have the same issue. Any ideas what it might be?

if the uppipe-to-turbo connection is clamped properly, then you might check the egr port clamp on the new egr cooler. after that, start looking at the uppipe bellows. sometimes those bellows start coming apart once you've gone in and wrenched them around, usually any time you have to pull the turbo. a cracked bellow can make the craziest whistle squeak creak chirp noises you can think of sometimes
