Tons of hauling (literally)

Well just this weekend alone I used the Tonner to haul materials from the sand and gravel site to the house. All in all we did 3 to 4 loads most weighing between 4000 and 6000 lbs. Been doing this for a few weekends now, hell of a lot of work and fun. Slow going and maybe not as much as Professor M can do but still making a dent in it anyhow. I always get a lot of people around the old truck each time I go, probably **** of a few when I hit the hills but hey, the speed limit is 35 on those anyway.

Doesn't it feel good working a 70 year old truck just as hard as a brand new one!?

Although, a few hills around here I've had to take in 2nd-Low at about 20 MPH... The flathead seems to be happy to do it at 2500 RPM.

Yup, I guy in the scale house was impressed that I could haul 3 tons with my old truck, he had a new 350 dual cab with a regular box, could not get as much as I did.
