Turbo noise at exhaust
I have a 2011 that does not currently have the complete factory exhaust system on it and no muffler. With the nice weather I have been driving around with the windows down and hear a noise out of the exhaust that sounds like tires spinning on wet pavement when I let off the throttle or at some shifts of the transmission. Boost seems normal, and don't hear any noise while under load
I think it is just the VGT closing and making the noise.
Has any one else with a deleted sys heard this noise in there exhaust?

Yes mine did this as well, loud and obnoxious sounding. I added a big muffler and is kinda better, but still yearn for that sweet traditional turbo whistle. The VVT I think will prevent this from being achieved, I would love to be wrong though...
