Unknown black box behind seat

Unknown black box behind seat


I went out and bought a 1989 ford f-150 5.8 XLT and while i was cleaning it out i found this black box that is attached to the truck and also this speaker looking thing with wires going down the door pillar. and the black box has wires going under the carpet somewhere. it doesn't say ford on it anywhere. does anyone know what this might be?

Might might might be the old phones they put in vehicles.

Photo looks like a mic. As dieselss says - prob a mobile phone box. Antiquated.
