Anyone know what fasteners are used on the top of a west coast jr where the mirror mounts to the door? Dosnt seem like there is enough room between the door lip and the cab for a bolt head or nut.. saw a close up on google where it looked like a self tapper screw? Thank you
andis65 i think that the head of the bolts that are used on the top are flat. meaning you can not put a wrench on them. i have a set of camper special mirrors for my 67 f-100. i have not been able to find bolts like that anywhere. if someone knows please let us know.the nut goes on the outside of the door.the weatherstripping covers the head of the bolt.you maybe grind down the head to make it flat.?

In OEM form, Ford used lil t-bolts... I have a pic of 'em but I'm at work. I can post a pic later this evening (west coast time).
If you couldn't find the correct T-bolts, you could take some stainless steel carriage bolts of the appropriate dimensions and mill the head down on two (180°) opposing sides to create a T-bolt. You could even do the same thing with a stainless hex head bolt.
Yeah, I know, but thought I'd ask.
Did find something close on Amazon. They say stainless steel AND zinc plated. (???) Will need to be cut to length, but can be made to work.
