I got home late, pictures later. I went 75 miles over into Montana and got the 26-27 T pickup bed. Ended up with a load of engines including 2 Y blocks, a 315 Hemi, a 283 and what appears to be a 350 longblock core return in a crate. Also scored a pretty decent 150# anvil, some nice grease cans with the green and yellow Farmers Union Co-op label, Silver inlaid Crockett bridle bit, Crossman 2200 air rifle and a few other random things, Fun day of picking, Nice grass fed T-bone at a ranchers on the way home. Livin the dream.

Do you have plans for that 315? I know a guy looking for 315 parts. Stu
Nope, it needs a home. Sadly the crank is gone and I don't see maincaps in the pan. Missing water pump, front water crossover but has a distributor and front cover, nice valve covers and spark plug wire covers.
Sorry it's been rainy and didn't want to take my camera out. I did some (a lot) of research on the Y blocks and one is truck with the forged crankshaft and good large square bore 4 bbl. intake. I don't have ID on the heads yet, will need to pull the intakes. The truck engine is 62-64 292 and the other engine block code is 55-57 292 but it has the rear cam plug gone, cam out flush with the block and kinda cocked so that block is probably junk.
I was really hoping to find a set of 113 heads, or ECZ-G, no luck..yet.

I took my beloved canon slr digital in the rain too often and it got a spore or something growing inside the lense. Bought a new lense and then the camera died soon after. I was told the dampness did it in. On Christmas my wife gave me a duplicate camera and lense well cared for, she found on CL. It doesn't go outa the house unless it's dry out.
Thanks. I emailed him but haven't heard anything back. If his security is cranked down too tight it might have went to spam.
I've been dinking with the 2 Y blocks. Both 292s it seems. One is probably a 1960 pickup and has a broken cam so the block is probably junk. Both have the small valve heads. The other engine would seem to be 62-64 Truck. It has a rebuilders tag so who knows what is inside but does have a square bore 4 bbl. intake which is a good piece, and the forged steel crank and double groove cast pulleys. Both have spin on filters so I'll snag one of those for the 59
You might try texting him. If you don't hear back let me know and I'll try to see if he still needs the 315 parts. I suspect too that I know whose truck he needs the pieces for, so I can email him too as a last resort. Stu
