Pretty gol dang neat! Maybe not for that price, but it has a lot going for it if a guy's gotta have a tonner. In '42 the tonner and maybe the 1/2 ton got wider in the axles. Pre-42 had something like 46 1/2" between the wheel wells of the 8' bed. Ten years hauling plywood in one of them was enough for me. The '42 has about 49" IIRC.
