I hate to do it.....but, On the Hunt for a 1941 w/Flathead
Guys,
I would really appreciate any and all help you might be willing to offer in helping me locate a good one. Like Zippi I have been on the boards. I found a couple that I like, and in fact have an inspection slated on one Monday. I have been a Cadillac guy for any years and have a baby bird (57) already. I love the '41 styling and don't really know what I should be overly cautious about.
I had not seen the two you posted up Zippi, but I will check those both out. I looked at one of them and it had a replacement motor not a flat head. I'm more of a purist, would prefer a driver grade 3 or 4 would be ideal. I am in Dallas, Texas.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP!! PLEASE KEEP IT COMING!
So sorry, I thought did say. What I am looking for is a good driver a 3+ to a 4+ would be great. I have seen some good ones on the $16k to $25K range, The blue one is OK, but some of the others you sent are in much better shape and less costly. I have an email in on one and a text to the Seller on the other.
Your welcome. I got so frustrated during my long search with a lot of the ads being old or I would get no response. I looked for about 6 months until I came across a 1936 Ford pickup only to have the seller back out at the last min. The 1937 Ford pickup I have purchased in Delaware is due to be picked up on Wednesday (2/22/17). Hoping that all goes well. That red 1941 pickup I sent you the link far on the HAMB site really peaked my interest but I really wanted a 1935/36/37.
beautiful truck even like the color. bought one in back in 65, i was 16 yrs old. it was pretty ruff, but only paid $30.00. got a 47 motor paid $15.00 put in got it running , got in lots of trouble with it, but man what a great time. flatheads are king. ( flathead4848)-mikeh
