A few of the things you mentioned might be caused by the dead battery.

My EX always acts crazy when the battery isn't 100%. Even though I had my batt checked at the local auto place and it tested ok, it was the problem.

the battery was dead because of the dome light being on all night in 12 degree temps.it dose this when the battery is fully charged as well.as ive stated before it only dose this occasionaly.

I've recently developed an issue with the dome light staying on.

When the dome light is on and I try to drive it buzzes as to alert you that there is a door open. I'm pretty sure it's the back window sensor not making a good contact as it happens on and off.

You might want to try cleaning the contacst and double check to make sure they are well grounded. Simple and cheap

I'll definitely try that.I'm not sure where the door sensors are located.I've looked on the driver door but didn't see anything. Are they in the doors?

The door open sensors are part of the latch assembly inside the door and look like this.
The left and right are different, not sure what is used in the hatch.
Do you have a "Door Ajar" light on the gauge panel?
