Hey yall, I'm thinking about getting rid of my excursion now that a pick up truck would better suit my needs. For most vehicles, you just go online and search the value, however the excursion is a special case, and also modified. What do you guys think? Stats are 2003 Ford excursion, 6.0 diesel. K&N air intake, 4 inch exhaust. 35 inch tires.

Other than your signature "2003 Ford Excursion- 6.0 Power stroke Diesel. 172k miles. bullet proofed, k&n cai, 4 inch straight pipe"
1. Describe the "bullet proofed" portion. Specifically what was done, the term bullet proofed is very vague.
2. Location will determine value and desirability
3. Condition, the picture looks nice how about a picture of the inside.
4. XLT, Eddie Bauer or Limited? It's hard to tell with the funky gasket flare material.
Yea the truck does look clean but I would defiantly ditch that gasket looking fender flare or whatever it is supposed to be. At least you may like it but I know if I were to buy it first thing to go would be that.
Aside from the 35" tires does the truck have a lift? If so what is the size, make, etc. I wouldn't expect to get much for any aftermarket addons you may have put on the EX but it is still good to list it.
Then for the real question is there anything wrong with it?

4. Limited

i had to put on the fender flares when I had 38s. Cops were being PITA. I do not like them. It has an 8 inch bds all suspension lift. The truck just got 4 new injectors and a High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP). I only want to get sell it so I can buy a f250 or f350 with the 6.2 for work.
Photos dont do lift justice, just doesn't look like a 8" lift I believe you just saying.
looks closer to a 6"
Sorry to see you sell it you will regret it but understand different needs required it.
ill take a picture of the bds sticker on the leaf spring. According to the website, its an 8 inch lift. There is no way that 38s would have fit with only a 6 inch lift. The truck is awesome, just needed maintenance, so can't complain there. But I really need a bed of a truck, and a plow truck. So its gotta go.
What do yall think would be a fair offer for the truck private sale and trade in? My mechanic has a friend who only buys excursions, and he was interested. I was thinking 14-16k. Am I crazy?

I don't argue that it isnt a 8" just pictures didn't look that way. A friend of mine had 6" on theirs and ran 37". Plus I can run 37" on my truck with just 3" leveling kit. Truck and Ex much different.
