Wimbleton white

Is Wimbleton white the correct interior color for the dash and steering wheel in a 65? Looks like the wheel may be more of a cream color.

Wimbledon White is a cream color....

If it is a tu-tone truck... I believe the white would be on the lower half of the dash and would be a white steering wheel, as well as on the roof.

Right or wrong, that is colour I used for my steering wheel, front bumper, my hub caps, my dash and the Tu-Tone exterior of my M250. There are pics in my build thread, bottom of pg 12, where I compared colours.

I did my '66 two tone with the steering column and wheel in the body color, white lower dash. I thought that is how it was. Now you have me wondering...........

I believe those colours are correct Rich for a '66 and I've seen that up here in Canada too. For a '65, at least up here in my area, the '65 steering wheels were white (I went Wimbledon) with a black column.

I was looking at this site yesterday and did a search for my 65 F100. It came up with a listing of all the paint codes and I noted two whites. Code M for Wimbledon white and code 5767 for an interior white so I was wondering.

There have been many discussions on Wimbledon White vs Pure White on our truck parts. For me and my painter, it was just easier to paint it all in a consistant colour.

I couldn't see much difference in the colour of my old faded parts, but my spoke rims were definitely a brighter white.
