This kit is for the later 67-77 F250 but Benchworks tells me they have sold them to folks for use in the 65 F100 and 66 F250 style trucks. Anyone here have any experience with this? My truck is a 65 F100 4x4 and I have a 78 D44 disk brake front end I'd like to install.

There will be nothing that bolts in from that kit except maybe the pump.
And, I have heard that keeping the bolts tight on the adapter plate is near impossible.
OK kind of what I was thinking. With my early style frame I'm concerned about cutting into the cross members to much for mounting a PS box. I was looking at the early Bronco box that mounts outside the frame. I haven't seen any write ups on using one though. Looking for info on the 61 - 64 4x4 PS conversion with a later open knuckle D44. Seems like that would be the closest to my 65 F100.
