Thanks, Stu! I couldn't get the link to transfer. Wish they were closer to me. I would go look at them. I did get 3 spare wheels for my tonner trucks out of Bismarck ND a couple of months ago. Thanks to FTE'r 1952henry for the help on finding them.
I decided a trip to Florida was in order. Doesn't take much of a reason to get away from Nebraska in the winter. I stopped to check out these Tonner wheels. Found they were way more than crusty. They had rusticles so bad they had deteriorated through the metal on the rims, center discs and rings to an unusable and unsafe condition. I showed the seller the issues and he was going to remove them from CL and take them to the scrap yard. The trip was not without other successes. He had a horn off the tonner that he let me have just by taking it off. It is in the trunk of my car ready for the trip home. I picked up a very nice set of 4 Power King tires: two 7.50-17 tractions and two 7.50-17 highways. This will be a nice set of same brand tires for one of my tonners. It is Daytona Bike Week here so enjoying some time along the beach and looking at some other magnificent steel and rubber machines. Along with St Patty's Day and Spring Break it is one big party in Daytona this week. Going to top it all off with a day at the drag races. The NHRA Gatornationals is in Gainesville this weekend and will go watch the finals on Sunday. So will get to see some of the most powerful internal combustion engines on earth make their way down the 1000' track, or blow up trying! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend with a little St Patty's Day cheer and some shiny (or rusty) metal and burning rubber!

The '42-'47 1 ton rims are not the widow makers that are talked about being killers. They are, however, a 2 piece wheel design with solid removable ring that requires your attention to detail, inspection and precautions for safety when dismounting and mounting tires. I have dismounted and mounted dozens of tires from/to these wheels with no problems. But I use the same precautions that I would use for more dangerous types of wheels. So far sunglasses have helped keep my watchful eyes safe.

Once again I have to agree with WB about the Henderson.. That is a beautiful bike with those cream colored wheels. Great photos of all subjects, I'm glad I asked!

I was just glad to see such a beautiful Henderson motorcycle with a 4 cylinder engine. I was in Gainesville today and actually saw Don Garlits in person. I know his museum is near Ocala so will try to get to it while in Florida. Today, he had one of his 1960's Swamp Rat dragsters on display. Here is a pic of his dragster and for GB, a never ever Girls Gone Wild top fuel funny car driver. This driver's dad won the Top Fuel Funny Car finals today.

I was just glad to see such a beautiful Henderson motorcycle with a 4 cylinder engine. I was in Gainesville today and actually saw Don Garlits in person.
