63 Unibody tailgate support

My first post😃.
I just purchased a 63 Unibody with 67000 original miles. It seems to be missing some parts. Right now I'm interested in locating tailgate supports, either OEM or a workable compromise so gate doesn't go smashing down onto bumper. Any suggestions.

C1TZ-6644400-C Right & C1TZ-6644401-C Left .. 1961/63 Uni Tail Gate Supports / Obsolete ~ No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

I looked at Carpenters online 1957/66 truck repro parts catalog, he doesn't have any.
