So I was driving on a bumpy road and all the sudden my brake light turned on and traction control light also, my truck still brakes but today I was on a cliff at a light and I notice my truck slipping I don't know if I was slipping backwards or forwards obviously something is wrong. How do I troubleshoot this to find the problem thanks. the truck is a 2011 f350 dually truck the breaks look good I changed them not to long ago. Should I check the calipers if I take the wheels off I'm obviously going to change the breaks since they have lifetime warranty. Anything helps please I need this fix asap as this is my only vehicle and I use it to make a living. No abs light on, it's turned on when my truck was rocking side to side on a ****ed up West Texas Road. The fluid seems ok I used dot 3
check the fluid for the hydroboost if you have a diesel. Are you sure that you were pushing the brake pedal enough to hold the truck? Recheck for leaks since you have a light on and the reported slipping.
Ok maybe I wasn't pumping break hard enough because I pressed it harder and it did stop. Yes it's a diesel and the fluid is good, my friend checked the code and it was the brake fluid code
