As the title says: If you could only store five (5) tools in your truck, what would they be and why?
I'm looking at what's important for relatively basic, emergency fixes that might occur. I just picked up a 2014 F250 and want to be somewhat prepared as I learn the ins and outs of this vehicle.
Dtc scanner to read codes, and a basic socket set. Anything that requires more tools on the road is going to done at home after a ride on a shiny new tow truck.

If you are on the road with 5 tools, you might as well just drive the car. It is probably more reliable anyhow.

I got bit by this but was very close to a dealer. I should do this but am going to have to learn where they are and how to replace. The how does not look too difficult, even for me.
My phone has a flashlight or it would replace the jumper cables..
Rocks can be pressed into service as a hammer.. So can the adjustable wrench!
