A BIG day today, so I though I would share! After 20 years I got my Truck on the road again! Completely new brakes, brake lines, wheels, and tires. The 239 is still pretty tired but I just had to do it. The seat is not reupholstered yet, so I had to set on a bucket. Not very comfortable plus lots of clunks and rattles At least I can pull it outside now and do some cleaning and power washing. I know what I will be dreaming about tonight!
Looking good there, Dave. Congratulations on getting your truck back on the road. I enjoyed your video. Nothing says "Nebraska" like a big open sky and a little gravel road.
Off of what or where did you find these 19.5's that fit your truck?
Just saying its "tired" because it burns a lot of oil and has never had any major work done on it. Plus it worked hard in it's day, hauling livestock and grain on the farm.
The wheels I got a little lucky with. A fellow FTE member obtained them years back and just rescued them because he knew they were hard to find. I do not know what kind of Truck they were on. I do know where there are a couple of more if your looking for a pair.
Looks like there is hardly any clearance between the front tyres and the fenders with those big wheels. Optical illusion?
The 19.5" wheels, and 8R19.5" tires, are actually a slight bit (1/2") shorter than the stock 7.50-17s. Seems wrong that it would be that way, but it's true.

If you are looking for a similar solution I know of a full set of the 17.5s that were also an optional tubeless one piece set of wheels. Not mine and I have no connection to the seller, but can share contact info if wanted. Stu
