1951 ford dump truck - help ID F-5,6,# ?

can anyone help us ID the F-number, or other model details for this truck. we believe it is a 1951, and it had a flat head six, manual 3 or 4 spd, two round handled levers under the dash, and 2 speed rear end as best i can recall at age 10. it was my father's work truck. pic. c1968. avatar pic of truck, bigger pictures at -- James Edward Hawkins -- any details that help ID it are appreciated. thx, ev1

From those pictures it's impossible to tell if it was an F5 or F6, the 2 speed rear was more common in the F6 but was available in both the F5 and the F6. If all you have is that picture you will not get an accurate answer. The hood trim appears to be 1951, but that doesn't mean that it was the original hood.

One of the round handled levers under the dash was the cowl air vent, the other was probably the axle shift, if it didn't have a button on the dash.
I'll speculate that it's a F-6. Just because...........

Is there a serial number plate on the truck? If so that will give you all the info you need.
