I purchased this jewel yesterday PM from Haag Ford in Greendale, IN. Been on the fence on wanting to order one and also studying the autotrader listings. When I contacted Matt with Haag about their autotrader posting of this truck I was shocked to hear it was available. I qualify for the Z plan so that plus the $1000 off made this truck go from $75,000 msrp to around $67,000. I quickly jumped in my 2014 SRW350 which was going to be traded in and drove the 6 hours to Indiana.
The review:
Wow how big this truck is. As the pic shows below these 2017's are indeed a good bit larger both in height and width from the older generation. I like the fact that the truck drives smaller than it looks. I was lucky enough to get to drive the 450 miles back to GA today. The longer wheelbase on this truck most likely was the reason for the smooth ride how. Power is amazing. Fit and finish is great. Will get a pic posted up of my window sticker. This truck is built with about everything available.
Any questions or special pics just ask? Im here to help. Anyone that knows me from the other forums knows that I know my vehicles well.
Your truck is so close to my ordered truck it is almost exact other than color and maybe two items. Interesting that a dealer would order this combo. I never find anything close on the dealer lots around here.
These are the best looking HD trucks by far!! So jealous, congrats!
Do the mirrors stick out farther than the previous gens? I wish mine went out farther when pulling my box.
Hard to tell. The mirror glass seems larger. The motion of extension doesn't seem to go out as far as the past Gen's but I think with the larger glass it would be better.
Hi Lawdogg,
I'm waiting on a F350 SRW and yours looks great.
I'm guessing I've seen your name on Z06 forum? Just a hunch.
I'm very impatient waiting on mine, but glad to see some good photos.
Thanks

Yelp thats me. Whats up with the name change over here. I guess my rep follows me everywhere. Always like my ford trucks pulling up my track cars. So many friends harass me for it but hey Ford makes the best HD truck. I didn't want to wait this one out with the ordering waiting things lord knows I have done it. But I always like being the first also. Hopefully this motor holds up well!! lol
Congratulations!!!! That is the almost the exact truck I would have ordered myself as my last 3 was that color but wanted to try the new White Gold on this one.
How many miles on your OLD beater truck and how much did they give you for it?

I just used same name I use on a motorcycle forum, but was pretty sure you had Z06. I'm from Columbus, Oh. and got Z06 from Coughlin - Chevrolet, and getting F350 from Coughlin Ford - Circleville, Oh.
Sorry for changing topic, and want to stick to Super Duty Trucks here!
Very nice truck!

22,300 miles got $45,000. It was a 350 srw lariat with luxury pack. It sticker ed $64,000 back in 2014. Good thing about the $45,000 was it also saved me $3150 in GA taxes so more like $48,150.
