Modded C's with RAS

Here I am seeking advice yet again.

I have the Modded C's from Jr. I am thinking about adding...let me correct that...I have ordered the RAS for the Excusion. Should I have ordered them for the F350 once I have the Modded C's? Has anyone else done this combo?

Should I have ordered the HD version of the RAS? I typically run 250lbs of tools in the "way back". I tow travel trailers for a RV rental company. I typically don't use weight distribution or sway. They are only 27' with no slides. Not very heavy. My personal trailer is 28' and again not much weight. I am looking to get rid of the axle wrap when torqueing up a hill I can feel it...well as soon as I let off the accelerator at the or near the top...I get that bump in the butt that gives me a little wag.

Thanks in advance. As usual!!!

Keith

By your description it sounds more like a worn out bushing in your leaf spring eye.

Also, what is the condition of the rubber snubber on your stock axle wrap bar ?

Let me just be clear. I knew the problem is not with the springs. I don't want anyone to think that. I am very happy with them. My only regret is that I didn't get my friends from JR! He and I talked about this today. I'm seriously considering a road trip to PA to swap out my 1 year old Vs for His Xs!
I don't have the factory anti wrap bar any longer. The modded Cs from Jr don't have them. The springs are a year old so I know the bushings are good. I went with the regular duty RAS. After talking with jR this morning I felt confident that this will take care of my issues. I also had play in the drag link and replaced that. I now believe that was more of my issue than anything. I'm trying to circumvent using weight distribution and anti away when I am towing the rental trailers.

So my trip to NY tonight was awesome! Like a new truck. DH says..."feels a little stiffer." I said "why thank you honey! Lol... just a little adjustment to the suspension."

I run with now that I really think about it..300 lbs of tools and equipment. Of course the heaviest right at the barn doors. I know I am my own enemy. I really wish I spotted the drag link before. Being a trouble shooter of electrical systems on Locomotivesby trade I like to try one thing at a time.
When I bring the trailer back through the mountains of VT and NH... that will be the true tell! After the last time DW said she didn't want to go that route again because of the feeling on the curvy roads. Ill let you know how it turns out. HMMM...she hateS that route in the diesel pusher and my Lincoln Mark VIII. I'm thinking I'm the common denominator here. LOL

Have you considered an air spring so you can adjust your spring rate to match what sounds like a constantly changing and wide variety of payloads you are carrying ?
