Don't feel bad. Years ago, I had drawn this up. I was showing how to add a bung to a set of headers when swapping to fuel injection.
The anti-foulers have the same thread pitch that are on O2 sensors. I didn't realize until AFTER I had drawn this up that I had written "fowler" instead of "fouler" --I guess an anti-fowler would be someone that has something against birds. Ha ha.

Your main problem wasn't the cross threading, it was before that, when you put a spark plug in the block...
Understood Jklnhyd. Dumba$$ me should have put that in the head portion instead. I knew there was something missing from that head but just couldn't figure it out hah.

True story here. Years ago the GF I had at that time had a worn out 72 Camaro who's 350 4bbl broke a rod bolt. The rod cap spun sideways and Took OUT the LF corner of the block. She had little money so I installed a GM H.P cam and lifters kit in a used 305. No 350 belly button motors in any JY in AZ at the time. The Mexican guys gobble them up. That 305 took the Q-jet but had all 8 anti foulers in it. I removed them to see what would happen. Tried 2 different styles of AC Delco plugs. Each would only last about 2 weeks then foul. So I tried FORD Motorcraft ASF42C plugs. When I sold the car 2 months later they were still in there. The "2" in the 42 designates "power tip". The Motorcraft part number meant as a direct replacement for that 305 was ASF4C. But that 305 took the power tips.
