Need Advice - 1997 F250 LD Air Suspension - Can I just remove and upgrade to leaf springs?
Hi all,
I have a 1997 Ford F250 light duty truck with the factory air suspension. My left side air bag just started leaking again and I want to find out if if I can just remove the air bag suspension components and upgrade my leaf springs and be done with the air suspension altogether.
If any of you have any knowledge on this and would be willing to share, the information would be greatly appreciated. Specifically which leaf springs would be the correct ones to use that would be most helpful.
I would think new shocks and springs would be a good replacement for the present setup. There are 3-4 different springs available depending on how heavy you load the truck.. Do you use it as a 250 or more of a 150 ?
