Running Rough
1996 F-150 with a Straight 6. The fuel pump went bad and I replaced it. Thirty miles down the road and it was running on 3-4 cylinders. I took out the tank and totally cleaned it out and put it all back together again.I cleaned out the filter on the pump also. The problem remained. I rebuilt the fuel injectors and this made only some improvement. I did not touch the fuel regulator at all. The fuel filter is brand new. At an idle the engine runs fine. When given gas it runs very rough. Can anyone suggest a next step please??
