Lebanon Tennessee is just east of Nashville; off Interstate 40; several hotel's between Nashville & Lebanon; check around Mt. Juliet Tennessee as well. Haven't stayed at any place due to my close location to Lebanon. But hope this helps you to determine you're options.
I would expect that most of the hotels in Lebanon are booked already. I just looked, I'm staying at the Days Inn and they still have a few rooms available. Days Inn - Lebanon | Lebanon, TN 37087 Hotel

If it's the Comfort Suites on Murfreesboro Rd in Lebanon it is 3 miles (4.8KM) from the show.
Best day is probably Friday, but the awards are done on Saturday. If you really want to see all the trucks and study them, as well as seriously checking out all the vendors and swap meet area you will need at least two full days.
