Ton an a half hood springs

Mine are gone. What can I replace them with?

On the '40 1 1/2 ton I used to own I used ones from a '40 1/2 ton p/u. Bought them new from Joe's Antique Auto in MA.

I have a loit of hoods... I will look under some of them for springs. Remind me tomorrow, k?

They seem to break, the low mileage 47 I parted had the broken pieces of both still laying down in there.
I'd like to find out more about those custom hinges that let the hoop open wider.
