I would like to see pictures of your truck after installing Mid50's short and smooth centering springs. Can you really see the difference between centering or leaving them in stock position? If I put them on the front only right now will there be an extreme rake? I am replacing my king pins and going to replace all the spring bolts and bushings and decided should replace the springs. But do not have the funds to do the rear. Mid50 does not have the extended drag link in stock and will probably be three months before they do. Is it save to extend the stock one? I also was wondering if the steering box can be moved forward? I have a Toyota power steering setup on it.
Pappy check this out it is from Mid Fifty. I am doing the same thing I just had new king pins put in but have re drill a place for a grease zerk because of the disc brake kit that is on it. On the springs I will take a plumb bob and mark the the position on the fender where the center of the will is with what is now on it. On the lowering I will take a measurement anywhere that is stationary as in the bottom lip of the fender and see just how much it does lower it. I might need a set of stock spindles since the PO sort of buggered up the new spot for the upper grease zerk.
