I just noticed its not a paint spray gun but a air charged chemical sprayer.. Still cool

It says self energizing. Wonder if it is like a Windex bottle. Couldn't imagine painting a whole truck with that. Would end up with one arm like Pop Eye and the other like Pee Wee Herman.

I'd really like to know the actual intent of the unit. I've never seen or heard of such a thing from Ford. It does look like a quality unit. Perhaps it was for degreaser use by mechanics to clean up their mess after servicing someone's car at the dealership?

Back in the day when I was in HS, I worked in a garage PT. We had a similar looking unit that we would fill with brake fluid and Spray all the rubber bushing underneath the car when we did an oil change. It kept all the rubber soft. It would hook up to air supply.
