Super clean '36

Am a regular on the 48-56 site . A longtime friend just purchased a '36 from Az. This truck is insanely clean & came w/ boxes of new parts .It is a complete truck. His plans are to replace both ends of the suspension ,small block & auto.So he will have some parts to help out some others with a stock resto.

Have a few questions to help him out .
1. Where is the VIN on this yr. truck located ?
2. Do the door panels cover the whole door & how are they attached ?
3. Any other info will be greatly appreciated .

Spoke to him today (the owner ) . The seats are buckets but not correct for this truck . The current bucket seats each slant toward the doors . I assume a bench seat was stock . So he is going to need one of those . How hard are they to find ?

1. Frame number is near the steering box, just like on the F series trucks.
2. I honestly don't remember
3. A bench seat was stock. They don't adjust much and are not very comfortable for large people.

The frame and running gear is pretty much the same as 37 and 38 passenger car.
