How to order parking brake cables?
Seems that there are lots of different lengths to choose from.
Does anyone have any tips on how to best go about ordering the appropriate parking brake cables?
2002 F350 7.3l ZF6 crew cab, short bed.
I'm thinking of calling the local dealer with VIN number to get the appropriate part numbers and then looking up interchange numbers for parts that are of similar quality but cheaper cost than motorcraft OEM.

For anyone following in my footsteps, there should be a door sticker on the driver side of the cab which has a number under the letters "WB" -- it is my understanding that this is an inch measurement for wheelbase, which is helpful in ordering parking brake cables.
Front cable, intermediate cable (wheelbase dependent), and rear cables (left and right).
It's also my understanding that there are narrow frame and wide frame chassis. Narrow frame trucks pertain to flatbeds and service trucks, and wide frame chassis pertain to pickup-beds.
If your truck is a pickup truck, it has a wide frame. If it's a service truck, it's narrow frame. The driver side rear parking brake cable is what it is, regardless of narrow/wide frame. The passenger side rear parking brake cable/length will differ based on narrow/wide frame.
For an 02 F350 7.3l 156" wheelbase crew cab short bed pickup I have found the following.
Front - 1C3Z2853AA
Intermediate - F81Z2A793BA
Rear left - YC3Z2A635BA
Rear right - YC3Z2A635BB
Hopefully I can confirm this tomorrow as the local dealer told me they do not give out part numbers and that they want over $9000 per cable.
