'98 Navigator and I need to replace the bulbs in the overhead dome light (2) and on the driver's side running board the backmost bulb is out under the passenger door. I'm in Maryland so where would I get those parts? I have the overhead dome bulb which reads T579 on it and there appears to be a whole harness attachment on the running board. Thank you.
I'd suspect it's pretty common to find in the US, maybe even in certain hardware stores and departments stores, or Wal-Mart. In Norway we can buy most common bulbs in gas stations as well, perhaps you have the same in the US?

You'll need a #916 bulb for the running board light. Go under the running board, remove the bulb assembly, swap the bulbs, reinstall the assembly.
And yes, #579 is the correct dome bulb number to ask for. Either of these can be bought at any auto parts store, and they come in packs of 2.

I wish I would have read this yesterday but I am thanking you today. I did install the 579 and now I know I can install the 916 as well. He told me the entire harness was a dealer part. Thank you again for your help with this Alloro!!
