Is this a Dana 60? (With Pics)
Hello everyone, looks like a found me a good parts truck with two Dana 60s a 429 C6 and np205. Before I go ahead and buy it I just want to make sure this is a Dana 60 front. Pretty sure it is. Thanks.

Kingpin, open knuckle, 9/16 heads on the cover bolts, sure looks like a 60. If you had the numbers off of that tag on the cover bolts I could tell you exactly what it is.

Yes it's a high pinion from a 79 f350. He claims 4:10 gears which would be perfect for me. Plan is to weld radius arm tabs on it and put it under my 79 150 and keep my coil springs like the bronco guys are doing.

The hood is pretty good. Actually the whole body is in good shape. It's too bad they cut the frame to shorten it. They also notched it out where the passenger side exhaust manifold is. Hopefully somebody needs a good 72 body around here. It's worth restoring.
