Body lift on a 2wd f-100 custom

Thinking about getting a lift on my truck I know it's stupid to lift a 2wd truck I just want it to look better, any thoughts?

Buy one and put it on there if that's what you want to do. Usually people lift trucks for bigger tires, mainly for looks.

It is only "stupid" when someone lifts a 2wd truck more than about 2 inches and then puts big mud tires under it. That looks sort of silly, if you ask me.

That being said, some of these early F100 2wd trucks sit pretty low, even when they were new. And after 30+ years, your springs may well have sagged some as well. A taller set of front coil springs and perhaps 1" or 1-1/2" lift blocks in the rear would still look good and somewhat stock.
