Biggest Tire size I can put on a stock 2012 f350
Ok I've been searching and cannot find a good post about the biggest mud terrain tire I can put on my all stock 2012 f350 King ranch dually. No I'm not lifting it and no I don't have spacers. Has 17" rims. Whats the biggest tire size and what mud terrain tire do you all recommend for highway and gravel roads. I tow a 14000 lb 5th wheel trailer. I like Firestone destination mt and had good mileage results on a single wheel 250 but haven't had any on a dually. Thanks in advance.

I had a F350 dually with BF Goodrich A/T's back in '04 Met my weight needs (E) and I went a tad taller than 225/65 Have to watch width with your rears so they don't touch. I thought the A/T's worked very well.

Discount tire list an optional size of 255/75-17. There are a few others that may fit, but as pointed out you want to make sure that the dually tires don't rub against one another. While empty they may not, but add a load or 5th wheel hit a bump and all bets are off.
Not to mention that when pricing tires the stock 245/74-17 are a bargain.
I would find a tread pattern that you like and stay stock, at least that's my plans.

Even the BFG AT and KM2 and the Goodyear DuraTrac and MT/R Kevlar are available in your size. I'm not sure going super aggressive MT is really the best move in your situation, as ride and towing stability along with noise will all be worse. And they'll wear out a lot quicker. Bu you should be OK with a good AT like the Toyo AT2's.
